[Live] HubSpot Calls from Mobile (iOS & Android)

What is it?

HubSpot Calling is now on mobile. HubSpot customers with a paid Sales Hub or Service Hub seat can now make calls from the HubSpot mobile app via HubSpot's calling service.

Previously reps could only make calls through their own cell provider's network, but with HubSpot's calling service they can now leverage their available HubSpot calling minutes on the go. These mobile calls can be made to any of the 50 supported countries and be fully recorded. Paired with the conversation intelligence tool, they can even be played back on both the mobile or desktop app.

Calls with the mobile app can be made with any registered number, be it a mobile, landline, or HubSpot number. So customers don’t need to keep using their own numbers to phone their customers or prospects. As long as the number is registered within HubSpot, they can select which outgoing number to place the call with.

Why does it matter?

As reps are out-and-about in the field or away from their desks, they need to be able to continue their business – whether it's selling or servicing.

Until now, sales and service reps were only capable of making calls from the HubSpot mobile app through their phone provider's network – preventing our customers to get the most out of their HubSpot investment. For example, having to make mobile international calls at their phone provider's cost or not being able to record any of their mobile calls, which sometimes meant missed (self-)coaching opportunities or vital information lost to close a deal.

With the updates made to HubSpot Calling on the mobile app, customers can continue to leverage their HubSpot calling minutes while their reps are on the go. And together with the conversation intelligence app, no call data will ever be lost again, which means better reps and happier customers.

How does it work?

Note that to make use of the new mobile calling experience, you need to have HubSpot Calling enabled in your HubSpot settings and you also need to have at least one registered phone number.

Open the HubSpot mobile app, select a call task, or open a record you want to phone. When tapping the "Call" button, a new pop-up window will appear at the bottom of your screen. There you can select your call method and the outgoing number of choice. Choose "HubSpot Calling", select a registered number and you can start to make calls through the phone’s mobile or WI-FI data connection.

The HubSpot Calling service is powered by our partner Twilio's Voice-over-IP (VoIP) technology.

Who gets it?

The new calling updates are now available on both iOS and Android to all users on a paid Sales Hub or Service Hub seat. To start enjoying the new calling experience, download or update the latest version of the HubSpot mobile app from either the App Store or the Google Play Store.
