Your Role
We are looking for a highly motivated Director of B2B Sales to drive the development of inbound and outbound sales team. You should have a passion for exceeding sales targets and revenue goals with an expert sales team. You will build a team of Sales Development Representatives and Account Executives to proactively source leads and engage with SQLs coming from our digital marketing team. This crucial role will motivate, lead, coach, monitor and develop extraordinary sales talent. You will bring forward-thinking ideas, partner with internal and external resources to deliver our solutions to market delighting our clients and partners.
What You Will Be Doing
Recruiting, curating a pipeline of highly engaged sales professionals
Leading the day-to-day activities of the inside sales team
Coaching, developing, and monitoring the sales team’s performance against KPIs
Optimizing prospecting and engagement strategies to ensure a well-qualified sales pipeline
Driving the sales team to exceed pipeline growth and client acquisition
Managing monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts and performance outputs using HubSpot Sales Hub
Continuously refining and optimizing sales playbooks and an iterative sales process.
Provide deep market insight informing our product roadmap, go to market strategies, and digital marketing programs. Research and discover methods to increase customer engagement
Building an open-communication culture inside your team and across the organization
Collaborating with our Digital Marketing Leader and Executive team to make data-driven decisions recommending investments where we see success and de-prioritize programs that are not generating returns.
Optimizing sales automation tools to drive the effective execution of our sales process.
Coordinating with the sales team and executive leadership to drive deals to close
Coordinating and collaborating with our Risk and Compliance team to drive deals to close
Monitoring the competition and providing ideas to stand out and differentiate with our prospects and clients
Maintaining awareness of industry trends and topics to stay relevant and informed in discussions driving your own perspective (in-line with company expectations) as a thought leader.
About You
5-7 years of experience leading an inside sales team in a high growth product lead fintech
7-10 years of demonstrable experience exceeding sales quotas and objectives
Deep understanding of the North American payments landscape
In depth knowledge with Payment Facilitation
Ability to understand emerging trends within the industry and adapt to lead the execution of our sales programs
Hands on experience and demonstrable expertise leading a sales team with HubSpot
Innate curiosity and desire to learn and solve challenges
Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or technology.Master’s degree preferred.
