I have been using Hubspot for a while, but never logged out, and didn't save my password.  Yesterday when I tried to use it, it told me that my authentication had expired.  When I tried to log in again and asked for my password, the email was sent to an email address that no longer works, as the company for which I worked has ceased trading.  Does anybody have a workaround so that I can get back into my account, otherwise all my previous work is lost?  ...read more

On some of the top website building and hosting sites, you are almost always able to view how many users clicked on a link, video, image, etc. to guage interest and performance.   Currently the blog performance does not have an HTML Click Map similarily to the email marketing performance. It would be great to see how many clicks we've gotten on videos, various CTAs and if users are navigating to read other blog posts at the bottom.  ...read more

Hi, I've been a marketer for thirty some years now, mostly in the industrial materials area.  One of the common threads of this experience is that Sales has the expectation that Marketing will generate qualified leads that they can turn into new revenue, but when Marketing actually generates those leads and does a fine job to ensure that they are high quality and qualified, the sales organization does not follow up on them.     In my current role with a small, very progressive and talented industrial materials company (with 5 reps), we've made investments in our website, advertising, Hubspot CTA's and processes that have tripled our website activity from new prospects and our lead flow.   Yet when I look at the leads that we have graded as "A" and sent to our sales organization, the follow-up on those leads is poor to middling and, of course, varies by sales rep.     So my question is this:  what are the best practices that organizations have used to ensure that field reps accept ownership and actually follow up on marketing qualified leads?  What changes in Hubspot have companies implemented to support these best practices.  We do not use "Deals" today, but instead do basic lead management using the contact records and lead status. ...read more

Currently, when you go to add contacts to a static list, it must be a pre-existing list. It would be immensely helpful to have to option to create a new static list from the drop down menu, or at least somewhere on the same screen. It's much more intuitive than the alternative.   Usually my flow is something like - Searching through contacts/other lists, selecting contacts as I go - Decide these folks should be in their own list - More > Add to Static List - Remember I have to already have a list made - Open new tab, create new list - Go back to original tab and hope newly created list populates in the drop down (it doesn't) - Refresh tab, go through the hassle of reselecting all the contacts - Then add to new list ...read more

It would be extremely beneficial if we could access the sharable link of marketing emails sent to contact records for use with workflows. This would allow customers to copy and paste this shareable link into a custom contact property via a workflow allowing them to have further visibility and data on the contact record level of what marketing emails were sent i.e if we send an email to an individual through Hubspot, we could then add the shareable link/web page page URL of that email to a field/property such as "last email delivered". ...read more

A recent update has removed the number of Contacts who are active within an Action from Workflows! I preferred the prior version of the feature "Active Contacts in this Action" that showed the total number of active contacts... I imagine that calculating such a metric must be computationally expensive. So I understand why it's no longer visible upfront - but there needs to be an alternative for troubleshooting.   For example when "drilling down into the action.. the total isn't displayed nor there an option to see the total number. For me to insure that the workflows are working I need to see how many folks are there; there could be thousands or tens of thousands of Contacts who should be active. Since I can'tconfirm that the workflows are functioning correctly. Are the totals coming back in the main view? What is planned for this feature? One option would be to show the totals when "drilling down" into the details. Other ideas: Allow saving the list of active contacts, so the total can be calculated externally. Provide the total in a tooltip or pop-up when hovering over the "Active Contacts" section. Add a setting to toggle displaying the total, for those who need it for troubleshooting. Display the total on the initial page load, but remove it after a few seconds to optimize performance. Show a sampled approximate total, rather than calculating the exact figure. ...read more
