Podcasts is the 21st century radio. There are so many to tune in to tune out the din from the existing hustle and bustle of an urban life. However, using a podcast that helps us listen and learn or relax from the streaming content could go a long way in getting more subscribers as well as having the word out rapidly if the programmes get super interesting and additictive. I have not yet seen podcast tab on a website and I think it can be used extremely effectively for getting both vested stakeholders and potential ones. This dedicated station as it were can go a long way to provide a lasting brand value and also use the medium to market an individual, a professional, a corporation or a ngo their existence. Podcasts can be used in a crises situation too when other broadcasting options can be less than helpful and getting to amplify the critical message can be of great public service from dedicated listerns. I strongly believe that to have a podcast in for a selected set of ears is not enough and this under utlised form of audio communication will help if introduced well and sustained too for a long, long, time coming.
