At the moment, when syncing a custom object FROM Salesforce to HubSpot, you are asked to create an association for contacts in HubSpot. Salesforce has both leads & contacts, and so when you are creating this association you are forced to chose which one you want to sync over.   This means that I am losing a chunk of data - for example, all the records that are leads in Salesforce are now not associated to my new custom object records in HubSpot.   I'd love there to be an option to be able to sync both to contacts in HubSpot - this is possible in the current SFDC <> HS integration; it just seems to be an issue with the custom object sync which is fairly new. ...read more

Currently, when using the Global Search Function, we cannot amend the default Global Search Results Settings to display properties in the Global Search Results View columns that are relevant to the specific business, and customise views to different teams/ team members in the business.    i.e. Global Search Results for Contacts only show default columns for Name, Email, Phone number, Primary company, and job title.  Global Search Results for Companies only show default columns for Company Name, Domain, City, Region, Phone and Company Owner.  Similarly, we are locked to default properties with Deals, and all other objects.    Goal  We are able to tailor the Global Search Results settings to meet the needs of different teams/users, much like the way we already can edit the object-specific search result views with the Contact/Company/Deal search tabs. This will enable us to:  - Choose properties to display in the Global Search Results view  - Choose order of columns that display  - Change length of column.   Different teams have different needs:    Use cases Different properties/columns to display for different teams  - Service teams may find it more useful to see a customer code property/column in the Global Search Results View; while they can use the Global Search to find the correct company, they can't see on the screen they are clicking on the correct company, because we cannot bring in the <CUSTOMER CODE> company property to the results view.  - If searching companies, would be great for sales teams to see the primary contact in a column, and click directly onto this, rather than needing to click on the company record, to then search for the primary contact  - If searching tasks, would be great to see the internal task owner in a column, so you can easily see accountability.    Ability to edit length of columns  There may be several entities e.g. deals, companies, with nearly identical names, but a small variation right at the end of the deal/company name. So we can correctly read the name, we need to be able to edit the length of 1 particular column in the display screen. This means we don't have to click into the record/hover over each record, to read it. e.g. COMPANY NAME is likely to be longer than other properties, so we want the ability to make this column longer than others.    ...read more

We created a custom object for our partners. This way we can associate the partner object to all deals that have been referred by that specific partner. From this we can create reports on commission, and see a clear distinction between the deal and the partner.    Now, there is one big challenge. We also want to send out proposals to the partner when they become our official partner. However, it is not possible to associate quotes to custom objects, or contacts or companies, but only to deals. In our case, we do not want to create a deal for a partner. We also tried it with pandadoc, but unfortunately also with this integration it can only be connected to a deal.    The workaround would be to create a pipeline and deal stage for proposal and associate it to the custom object. Hey HubSpot,    The parent company record really should be the sum of it's children. It would make since for there to be a default association pattern where when contacts are added to the children companies they are also associated to the parent record so all activity flows there.    then if someone wants to get specific, they could just click on the child company and view activity related to that one child company!   thanks!! this is a major painpoint for adopting hubspot as our sales CRM ...read more

One of the time-saving items I used regularly in Salesforce is the Global Actions button.  This button is at the top of the page so that I could get to it easily and from any page.  It allowed me to quickly Log a Call, add a New Contact, New Company, New Opportunity, New Meeting, etc.  In Hubspot, if I wanted to add a new Opportunity for example, I have to do a search for the Contact or Company record, go to the relevant record page, click on the Deals tab, and click the Add button. ...read more

Problem: When editing default sidebar view by adding/removing cards, the order becomes locked for individual users to edit their view.   Proposed solution: Have the ability to still move the cards shown on the 'trimmed/selected' default view   More detailed description: We are looking to have the functionality of removing/adding cards on the default right-side bar view, but still have users move them individually. Would be really helpful to be able to run a test with an email using personalization tokens of an associated custom object in its body.   Right now it appears empty in the arriving test mail, even if the test contact I choose has all the values set in its associated custom object.   Pls make sure that this relation can also be tested and I do not need to run live tests with every email I create like this.   Thanks! ...read more

Hey team, it would be great if we could have contacts/companies/deals that are associated to a custom object record show up as default associations when we craft an email on the custom object record.   Currently only the association to the custom object record itself shows up, and it requires a lot of extra work to manually find and associate the contacts/companies/deals that should be associated to that email.   Thanks! ...read more
