Currently "Subscriptions" for contacts or companies are created when a buyer makes a purchase using a payment link configured to collect recurring payments, or a quote integrated with payments that includes recurring line items. It would be great to provide the ability to create a subscription manually – for those who want to track subscriptions but do not necessarily use HubSpot to process a payment. In our case, we want to track subscriptions for subscribers paying via invoice. Or import existing subscriptions without requiring customers to go through the HubSpot Payment process.

I'd like to suggest proving an option, and not a requirement, for paying fees on a payment link. We are using HubSpot not only for marketing and soon be be website but also a donor platform. Many of the options are work arounds through the Sales Hub, but I'd love to see an option for donors to pay the processing fee at checkout. The only way to make something optional is adding a line item at the 2.9% processing fee, but this just adds to the total which inturn a larger processing fee. I know how to make the processing fee required for all payments through a particular link, there just isn't an option where people can choose if they pay it or not. This will help us as a non-profit to benefit more from people's donations to our company by offering the donor to pay the processing fee.

I'm working on an event with paid registration, and I need a way within HS to accept more than one registration per order. I have included the quantity option (great!), but I also need to collect individual registration contact info. Example: Buyer is registering for multiple people and each person needs to receive their own confirmation and event details and we need a list of all registrants. (These are small-scale workshops, so I don't need tickets.) I have used Eventbrite and Shopify in the past to manage event registrations, but was so hopeful with the HS payment feature that I could manage it ALL in HS. For now I'll have to use another product. But this addition to the purchase/payment feature would meet our needs and greatly simplify the event management process! Thanks!

It's strange that there is no payment description field on payment forms. If we want to embed a payment form on our website, we can't tell the invoice number they're paying for. That makes it difficult for our finance department to match payments to invoices. What's especially frustrating is that there's a description column in the payment details and reconciliation reports! It would be nice if the Stripe payment module that exists in the USA could be deployed in France so that we could accept payments on a website.

It would be amazing to be able to include product line items on the payment link pages that are optional to customers. Right now, they can't opt out via a 0 quantity as a workaround either. We have our consulting services broken into tiers based on a set number of service hours. I'd love to have the ability to include a line item for additional hours as an (optional) option where they can add a quantity of their choosing if they anticipate needing more time with us for a project or the sort. I also think this would be a game changer for a lot of other companies that may want to include optional upgrade or product line items on the payments link pages. YOU CAN DO IT HUBSPOT WIZARDS! I BELIEVE IN YOU! 😀

I am working on implementing HubSpot for my client. I was looking at using the Payment Schedule feature on Quotes, but it seems you cannot use that at present if you have recurring Line Items on your Quote. Is this going to change in future? It would be very helpful to also see the monthly payment plan for a customer who is purchasing both one-off and monthly services.

Hello! It'd be great to style the payment links so that it looks like our brand. The fonts and colors aren't adjustable. I'd love to be able to include my company's brand elements so the user stays immersed in our brand during the checkout process.

Hey Team, In considering moving our payment processing away from QBO and into HubSpot there is one major impediment standing in the way. Since the payment gateway is one HubSpot account with Stripe the tenant (or HubSpot client) doesn't have access to that gateway. It is common that credit card limits are hit at the time of attempted processing and payments may be declined. The current setup requires the customer to go back and manually process their card again. This extra step makes it difficult for the HubSpot client to be in control of their payments. There should be a workaround or automated re-try to process the card on the next day. How does the HubSpot client hold the customer to an agreement if they are unable to reprocess a card? For example, a customer signs up for a monthly payment for 5 months where they get full access to a product/service library. Even if the customer signs a 5-month contract they can avoid payment for services if their payment method fails one time.
