Cher vs Chère - Different word depending on gender

SOLVE

I am trying to send an email to French contacts.

The contacts will be addressed in French as "Dear Mr./Ms. [Surname]".

However, in French, "Dear" is spelled differently depending on emailing a man or woman. Cher vs Chère.

Is it possible to have a personalised token that spells Cher the correct way based on the gender?

Hi @Plyons

You could create a custom property or edit the default salutation field to hold this information, but you would have to set it manually or by workflow, which would only be possible if you know or collect gender at conversion. Tricky.

Hope this helps, somehow.

Hi - for the particular list of contacts I am dealing with, I do have their gender. I'm new to everything but  I will try create a custom property and see what happens!

Thank you very much!
