Lead Status Changes Not Reflected In Contacts

SOLVE

I have customized the Lead Status options by removing the default status values and adding my own options.

 

After saving, the old values are still showing under contacts and the new values are absent.

 

How can I make the new lead status values show up in my contacts?

SOLVE

Sorted. I did not realise that I was editing the company property instead of the contacts property.
