How to log product feature requests in Hubspot after meetings

Hi Ladies,

 

So excited to learn from you all. I am the Channel Manager at a Tech company called HeadsUp. I am brand new to Hubspot and has been tasked by my CEO to figure out how we can use Hubspot to log product features that we discover in meetings with clients.  I need to be able to log feature requests or feedback in a way that will allow me to pull a list of all features logged (the logging must follow a structured approach so that no matter who logs it, it can gather specific information and detail for each item).

 

Is the best way to go about this creating custom properties, then create a ticket pipeline and then creating a custom report to pull these?

 

Last question which subscribtion plan in Hubspot will allow us the needed access to be able to do this? We are currently on the Sales hub starter, would we need to upgrade to the professional?

Thanks for reaching out! To log product feature requests in HubSpot, you'll need to create custom properties to capture specific details, set up a ticket pipeline for feature requests, and then create custom reports to track them. After each meeting, log the requests as tickets, fill in the custom properties, and assign them to the appropriate stage in your pipeline.

Regarding your subscription, upgrading to the Sales Hub Professional or Service Hub Professional plan is recommended for full access to the necessary features.

Hi @Shantelj I highly recommend working with a solutions provider (in your area, based on your industry, etc.) that has expertise with building this out - it will save you a lot of time in the long run.

 

Finding the right partner can make a big difference, our team works on really complex technical integrations and often have clients who've already failed at a project with a previous partner. While your needs aren't overly complex, I'd recommend finding and vetting a partner that can help you be successful now and in the future.

+1 with @Jnix284 here, @Shantelj. While it seems somewhat straightforward to answer what you're asking, you may have additional needs and obstacles a partner can help you uncover. 

 

For instance, I wonder if a custom object would help, where you could have a pipeline for product development and also tie customers to the products of yours they're using... but that's an enterprise-level feature in HubSpot, and you'd want to work with someone who has experience in this.
