Welcome to the Community - introduce yourself!
Hi 👋
Welcome to the HubSpot community! We are thrilled to have you here!❤️
We want you to know that this community has been created with you in mind to build professional connections, explore new ideas, access video tutorials, discover alternative solutions, and stay updated on events, product updates, and much more. 🎉
The best way to start is by learning about our community and how to participate in forums and events. You can also explore how to rank up in the community with our gamification model - but one step at a time, right? 😁
We've prepared these guides to help you get started on your HubSpot community member journey. Please take a moment to review these tips below.
The HubSpot community is mainly dedicated to all things related to HubSpot products. However, if you're looking to connect with professionals from other areas, like founders, marketers, and more, the best place to go is connect.com. There, you’ll find events for these groups and plenty of opportunities to network with people in your field.
We can't say this enough, but we are thrilled that you have joined this space, and we look forward to seeing you in the forums.
After seven years of Marketo, we finally made the switch to Hubspot. I'm looking forward to getting a fresh start on a platform that values user experience. It seems like a really good time to come into the platform with all the recent changes — it's all new to me so nothing is in a different spot!
From syncing contacts to the flow of the deal page -- as I am getting accustomed to using all the tools in concert, it is all coming together !
I have used other CRMs in my past lives where snippets or even playbooks were difficult to implement. Hubspot really simplifies I am not bogged down or wasting time figuring out where to file something or how to create and save content.
We're so happy to hear that your onboarding process is going well 😄
If you have any Sales Hub related-questions or queries on best practices, please don't hesitate to create a post on the Sales Hub Board. Our community members and Community managers will be happy to chat about the product and brainstorm!
Thank you for the kind review and we'll be sure to pass it along to the onboarding team!
Cheers,
Kristen

@ATimmons Hi, Ann! I just wanted to say welcome — we're so glad you're here. 😄 You might find our new member journey and voice and tone guide helpful as you're getting up to speed!
I originally came over to HubSpot because I loved their community engagment and recognition for their engagement. Besides the free courses that are pretty amazing, there's also such a great helpful community!
I've joined the community several years ago because I started as a job as developer at a partner agency and had so many questions and didn't know where to get answers to specific questions. The academy and the documentation were on a whole other level back then so I found help here, loved the folks and stayed. Now I love to help others getting into HubSpot and still learning.
How about you? Why did you join?
btw - you can read a bit more about my relationship to the community here
Hi @MDeMarco ! This may be a silly question but are you onboarding to a new job, or onboarding/learning about HubSpot for the first time for an existing portal, or going through HubSpot Onboarding to set up a new HubSpot portal with the HubSpot team or a HubSpot partner? I want to help make sure you get the advice specific for your situation!
Welcome to HubSpot, and the HubSpot Community, @MDeMarco! As @Jnix284 mentioned, if you have an onboarding specialist helping you, definitely work with them.
As for other tips, I'd spend time in HubSpot Academy. The courses for Marketing Software, Sales Hub Software, and Inbound are all great.
I'd encourage you to stay active in Community, too. Set aside a little time each week to look through current questions and their answers. It's one way I learn new things in HubSpot after 12 years around this corner of the multiverse.
Happy HubSpotting, friend!
Did my answer help? Please "mark as a solution" to help others find answers. Plus I really appreciate it!
I use all tools available to help answer questions. This may include other Community posts, search engines, and generative AI search tools. But I always use my experience and my own brain to make it human.
Specific to onboarding, I recommend keeping communication open with your onboarding specialist - make sure you're asking questions and let them know if you have any internal roadblocks to meeting the due dates.
All the best with HubSpot and the new year!
