I'm currently the head of Revenue Operations for United Energy Workers Healthcare. We have a small RevOps team here, so like most of you I wear too many hats to count, but I wouldn't want it any other way. I get really passionate about systems, processes, and data, and how to constantly improve all three. You can reeeally make some magic happen when you get them working in harmony.
My education & work background I got a graduate degree in Information Systems Management, and excelled in Business Intelligence and Software Engineering roles during college. Once I graduated, I did freelance full-stack software development work, creating a social media mobile app, a web app for music artist discovery, and a bunch of other contracted projects. After several months of freelancing, I found my current role. Over the last year, I've been able to use just about every skill from my education and previous jobs to further the growth of my company. We get to provide free in-home healthcare to people that served me & my country (USA) through their careers, and sacrificed their health as a result. So my job is very rewarding.
My HubSpot story
I was lucky enough to spend the last year transitioning my company from Salesforce to HubSpot. It's been a HUGE project, and I've learned so much along the way, but I'm certainly still an infant in my HubSpot career (5 months now). I've had some key HubSpot pros help me through my crash course of HubSpot, so please reach out if you need anything so I can pay it forward.
There are certainly things that HubSpot does way better than Salesforce, but there are also features that I relied on in Salesforce that HubSpot sorely lacks. In short, I'm here to provide answers, workarounds, and feedback to make HubSpot a better place for all of us.
Allow me to introduce myself. First and foremost, I am a wife, a stepmom, a dog mom, a cat mom, a twin (fraternal, don't go looking for someone who exactly resembles me, believe me, one's enough!) a podcaster, a writer, a singer for the Barbershop Harmony Society (BHS) and Sweet Adelines International (SAI), a journalist (someone who loves to journal, although I started out as a journalist, more on that later), and last but certainly not least, a weather enthusiast and cloud nerd.
