What’s the last marketing video you remember watching and what made it memorable?
The last marketing video I remember was awful. It was from my lokal bank about a daughter who wanted to buy a house. Her father helped her set up a long-term financial plan after she expressed frustration that "everyone" was buying houses, but she couldn't because it was too expensive. It actually provoked me, because all the planning in the world won't help a potential buyer right now. 15% upfront in a insanely overpriced market has actually caused young people to opt-out or get property surety from their parents, or having to rely solely on potential inheritance. Not to mention the financially set elders who bought all the houses after the pandemic, because they realised they were bored in simple apartments, and the pandemic emphasized the need for space and hobbies. They squeeze the young out of the market. I don't feel the bank addressed the pain points of a young buyer today. That's why I remembered the video.
