What’s the last marketing video you remember watching and what made it memorable?

The last marketing video I remember watching was from Patagonia. It was a short film showcasing their commitment to environmental sustainability, with a focus on the company's efforts to reduce their carbon footprint and support conservation efforts. The video featured real-life footage of their outdoor gear being used in beautiful natural landscapes, while narrating the importance of preserving those places for future generations. The message was clear: Patagonia isn’t just selling clothes; they’re promoting a lifestyle that values environmental responsibility.

What made it memorable was the authenticity of the brand’s commitment to sustainability, paired with the stunning visuals of nature. The video didn’t feel like a traditional ad, but more like a call to action to join a movement for a better world. It made me feel proud to support a company that aligns with my values.

The video did encourage me to take action—specifically, I looked into buying a Patagonia jacket that I’d been eyeing, but more than that, it made me want to learn more about their sustainability initiatives and see how I could make more conscious buying decisions in general. The video’s call to action was subtle but powerful, with the focus on “buy less, choose wisely” which resonated deeply with me.

For me, Patagonia’s video was so effective because it wasn’t just about selling a product—it was about creating an emotional connection and inviting the viewer to be part of something bigger.

What’s the last marketing video you remember watching and what made it memorable?

The last marketing video I remember watching was an Instagram ad for a skincare brand promoting a new product launch. What made it memorable was the way they used storytelling, showing real people using the product and sharing their personal experiences. The video was authentic, relatable, and visually appealing, with a nice balance of information and emotion.

Yes, the video did help me take action, it encouraged me to visit their website and check out the product, and I ended up making a purchase because the video made me feel connected to the brand and confident in the product’s benefits.

The last marketing video I watched that was most memorable is for the app Calm, instead of using it to talk about their app they instead used it to show what the app can do for you.

The last marketing video I remember watching was for a car brand promoting their latest model. What made it memorable was the emotional appeal of showing the car in different real-life scenarios, really showing its features through storytelling. It wasn’t just about the car, but it was about how it would fit into someone’s lifestyle.

The video definitely helped me take action. After watching it, I visited their website to learn more and even signed up for a test drive for Alfa Romeo. The combination of visuals, storytelling, and clear CTA made it very engaging.

The last marketing video that stuck into my head would be the DIGITAL MARKETING COURSE online that UNLV campus offer. The main thing that attracted me towards it is the fact that I've been eagerly wanting to learn Digital Marketing and looking for a class/course that's face to face so that I could network and be surrounded by people who's also desiring to become a digital marketer.

The last marketing video I remember was the Nintendo Switch 2 reveal trailer. It was the most memorable because of the removal of human interaction as was their previous console reveals. The video was 2 minutes and 22 seconds. I believe this was intentional and it was feature packed without any voice audio too!

The last marketing video that I watched was recently regarding a pro wrestler by the name of Dijak. He was marketing himself as the first online pro wrestling school and dealt with virtual meetings/pointers. Although myself I haven't purchased the online course, the video did help give me a more in depth idea about the course and what Dijak was about. A helpful informative marketing video that gave a ton of insight and turned me into a customer instead of a stranger.

I remember a local food vendor that had just started a business, sharing flyers near where I work. I took a look at the flyer and just went by. Days later, I saw a video of the same food vendor reposted by one of my contacts on my timeline. It was so beautiful, with actual people enjoying the food. I immediately took note of their address and visited their outlet the following day. Lol. The short video was impactful.

The last marketing video that really made an impression on me was the one about the foldable, queen-size bed that can be easily carried around. I tried to find the name of the manufacturer, however I'm not able to find the reel again, and I did'nt bookmark or save it.

What’s the last marketing video you remember watching and what made it memorable?

It was one created by my former company (not by me). I gave a quicl breezy introduction to all the services the company provided. All the other videos, TBH, focused on one product.

The last marketing video I watched was a Coca-Cola one. I saw the intense routine of several workers, gift wrappers, grocery baggers ,and waiters during the busiest days of the festive season. It gives us a new perspective of how a time that is all about family and friends for some, can also be a time of hard work for others. In the end, Coca-Cola surprises the workers with gifts for them, to say “Thank You” for their effort.

I recently watched the video ad of Zepto app. It was quite hilarious and instructive. The bride was looking for broom but typed groom instead and then a new groom was ready to be delivered but before he could reach her doorstep she realized her mistake and corrected the mis-spelled word. The crux being whatever you would order would be delivered within a quick span of time.

I didn't instantly downloaded the app but that ad solely had a huge impresssion upon me and I won't think twice to order it from that app if I have to order something in future.

My most memorable video is the one from KFC where a guy pretends to be a food examiner. He goes around to different KFC outlets, eating at various times of the day. The ad cleverly highlights how KFC is open at all hours and available in many locations.
