I remember seeing a vmarkering video of the company I work for and I thought it was pretty good and it made me feel like I would register for an English course (I work for an English academy as a teacher) if I were a customer.

This afternoon, while browsing YouTube, I encountered an advertisement that I chose to watch instead of skipping, which is not my usual practice.

And guess that was the Canva tool marketing video.

The personal touch in the video drew me in, making me watch the entire 5-minute ad. I felt a genuine connection.

The last Marketing video I watched was a promotional video for the brand Cherry's 2024 FW capsule. Not only was it easy on the eyes, but displayed their latest products in such a way that really stuck with me and highlighted their overall brand identity. I would say that this video 100% assisted me in taking action due to the fact that 1.) I was unaware they were even HAVING a new release and 2.) I immediately clicked on the 'Buy Now' tab and immediately purchased something haha!

The last marketing video was seen on Jitterbug about matching outfits, and the memorable thing about it is that the style of the outfits is so unique that it's hard to forget.

What was the last marketing video you remember watching and what made it memorable?

Mustafa's Old Spice video, "Look at your man, now back to me.."

It is memorable because it is humorous.

The last marketing video that I remember watching was an AT&T advertisement. The advertisement was centered around younger students transitioning into a new landscape of learning that often requires technology like laptops or tablets. But the problem was that some students don't have access to WiFi at home so AT&T was offering some deal for internet access, showing their solution for getting more younger students access to WiFi to be able to complete their homework and continue learning. What made the advertisement so memorable was its emotional response that you receive knowing that some children are without internet access and AT&T is making a stride to mitigate the problem. While I don't have the need to jump on this offer, it definitely has created some pressure for me to spread the message about AT&T's goal to get more students WiFi through their service.

The LG Home Comfort marketing videos I've been seeing on Instagram are memorable. I have seen a few different ones, but the message is consistent across all of them. They follow a similar formula of highlighting  pain points consumers have with paying monthly for eternity for hot water tank rentals, or the high cost of upgrading to new heating and cooling equipment and then present an affordable, manageable solution for homeowners to upgrade their HVAC systems through LG Home Comfort. The video DID help me take action - I spoke with a sales representative and will be moving forward with one of the affordable packages.

One memorable marketing video I recall is the Nike "Dream Crazy" ad featuring Colin Kaepernick. What made it stand out was its powerful messaging around perseverance, diversity, and social justice. The video wasn't just about selling shoes; it tied into a larger cultural movement, using emotional storytelling and inspiring visuals that resonated with audiences worldwide. The bold narrative and the connection to real-world issues made it highly impactful and memorable.

The marketing video I remember watching was the in-drive advert displaying the luxury and helping to bridge the gap between those that own cars and those that don't.

A promo for Vinh Giang's course. He shared snippets of talks he has given that touched every pain point I personally have when speaking and being a confident speaker. It did help me take action! I'm trying to convince my husband to let me purchase it as we speak. I have 24 hours until it is gone (it will be back but the urgency has me ropped). To convince my husband,  I made him watch some of Vinh's videos on YouTube. He loved it but here's where I went wrong and it ended in a fight-I said, "That's like you honey!" when Vinh shared about speaking too low. Okay, next time I will work on the delivery. Off to show him more videos now!

I saw this cool marketing video for a new line of eco-friendly skincare products. What stood out was how beautifully it was shot, the interesting story about the brand's dedication to the environment, and how they showcased the natural ingredients in their products. It made me feel a connection to the brand and what they stand for.

The most recent marketing video i have watched that i enjoyed is the one done by In-drive. It was engaging because of the story telling aspect respnates with people living in Nigeria that do not have cars and want to enjoy luxury. it was also really funny and cultural references where very effective.
Yes i had previously stopped using the app but i decided to try it out again.

The last marketing video i remembered watching was a tiktok video of a lady advertising a china wholesale store that sells round neck tees and some other household items. What made it memeorable was the fact that she used a language that i could resonate with (Yoruba) and mixed with english language, also the sound track that was used in the background was quite captiavting and she made jokes here and there . this made me watch it to the end.

I would say the latest marketing video I saw would have to be different pop up ads on websites.

The Video Ad I saw on video with a lasting impression has been the Clickup Software tool, where a man named Jira comes to the HR Manager to find out that he has been fired due to certain defficiences in his services. Jira is in fact a competitors software. Instead of attacking the competitor directly, the named a person with the name of the Competing Product 'Jira' and the person being fired also wears the name badge with Jira written on it.

It is kind of funny and seems that Clickup has a serious row or frustration with its competitor Jira.

The last marketing video I remember watching was for a sportswear brand promoting their eco-friendly line of running shoes. What made it memorable was its visual storytelling—the video opened with shots of runners in various natural landscapes, and the transitions were seamless, following their footsteps as they moved from beaches to forests. The message was clear: by choosing these shoes, you're helping protect the environment you love running in.

The soundtrack also stood out, with a motivational beat that built up to the call to action. It created a strong emotional connection between sustainability and athletic performance. The visuals, music, and message worked together to make the brand's eco-friendly angle feel authentic and inspiring.

As for action, the video encouraged me to check out their website. While I didn’t make a purchase immediately, I did start following the brand on social media and now keep an eye on their promotions, especially for eco-conscious products. The video definitely influenced my perception of the brand as a leader in sustainable fashion.

For me, an engaging video has three key elements: a clear, authentic message; compelling visuals that support the story; and a strong emotional hook that resonates with the viewer. Would you like to discuss what makes a video engaging for your future presentations or projects?

The last marketing video that I remember watching was for an electroylte packet that you add to your water. The video came from someone that had a paid sponsorship, but they were transparent from the beginning that this wasn't always the case, and that they were a fan previously. The packets called "LMNT" were beneficial for health and hydration. Not only was the product discussed, but the company rewards its loyal customers by sending them new flavors for free, and without having any kind of sponsorship with the company. They also addressed how the company even sent a loyal customer free products before attending a trip just because. This video made me purchase the product and talk about it with fellow friends and family.

It was a commercial for glasses, and it was such a funny video that it made me laugh a lot. I think that’s what drew me to the ad. The video starts with an angry woman walking into a bar. She sees her "husband" sitting at a table with another woman and throws a glass of water at him. But in the background, you hear the real husband's voice saying, "I'm over here, honey," as he’s sitting with a friend, drinking a beer. The woman wasn’t wearing her glasses, so she couldn’t see properly. The commercial ends with something like, "You might want to wear your glasses," and then they show the brand they were advertising.

What made the video memorable for me was how it completely changed what you initially thought the story was about. You know? It plays with your expectations, which is a common tactic used to create humor, and they executed that perfectly.

It's actually a local brand in the Philippines where service crew memebers join the video and create a marketing that gives happiness and engaging content. After watching that video, I checked their social medias and trusted them because of that.
