What is your favorite video hosting platform and why?

Needless to say, YouTube is the prime choice now - the largest video channel, ease of use, second largest search engine etc. At the same time, important to remember that sites/apps like TikTok grew in popularity (and functionality as well) very fast. TikTok focused on short videos. TikTok offered some uniqueness and that's why it is also very popular now. The lesson is - in this fast chaging tech era, things really change very fast. That's why - although today YouTube, TikTok and other similar video sharing platforms (like even Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Snapchats or even YouTube Shorts etc.) are popular, we should have an open mind to accept new additions that can dramatically change how people upload, watch, share videos and how their analytics, algorithms work.

It's currently YouTube because,
1. They have the biggest distribution,
2. The algorithms are already going & if we can convince people to like the video - the work is done.
3. We can make an enormous library here.

At the minute we are using both YouTube and Vimeo, with both having their advantages and disadvantages. With the likes of YouTube, you are benefiting from using the second largest search engine, and is a great place to host marketing videos, when looking to increase your reach.

What is your favorite video hosting platform and why?

I have experience only with Instagram reels. I was working on videos for my account, but the response wasn't good. One day I made a video for a friend who makes river tables; the reel got more than a thousand views. I tried to figure out why did that happen. Even though the performance metrics were easy to read, I could not figure out why the reel got such great exposure.

To see a video the best platform is definetively You Tube because its offers a better experience, if i create a video i will use You Tube

In terms of video metrics, My videos perform best on instagram. I love youtube because I can read read the metrics much easier. but my videos dont do well like on instagram
