Lighting trend

Hi!, 

I am not sure if this is the right place for this question, but wanted to check if there is a specific lighting we should be using to make our Marketing videos more personal yet professional. Is there any set recommendation on this? besides of course the regular 4 points.

Hi @PAULITA! Of all the videos I've created, I've used myriad lighting setups. My current set up (I'll post the example below) is honestly my favorite, and a very simple one. On the left is a simple halogen/LED reading lamp. The right, is a basic lamp with a "daylight" LED. You can see I have windows on my left and right also. 

My camera is a basic Logitech 1080p HD webcam. I also block out the window behind me, and keep my office ceiling light on. 

Here's what it looks like on my recordings: 

Pretty crisp and well-lit. (In this one, the window behind me is not covered.)

Nothing fancy, here. 😊
