lifecycle stages - added new

We are trying to update the lifecycle stages, and while we had success getting them added as outlined in the link: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/crm-setup/create-and-customize-lifecycle-stages

... we are not able to update contacts with the new settings we hadded to the lifestyle stages. Any idea why we can't add the new stages we set up?

Hope you are doing great. 

Did you tried bulk editing contacts with the new Lifecycle stages you have set up? You can use the filter view for that and then update. If you can create a loom video and share the process you took I will be happy to help.
