Workflow to Track Deals Through the Pipeline with Dynamic Updates
resolver
I am looking to write a workflow to notify me when a job comes into the pipeline from a certain form and then gets carried to the end of the pipeline and is invoiced. But the name and information of the deal is changed along the way. Any suggestions on how to setup this work flow?

@Krislyndeals can't be created directly from form submissions - is this through a workflow then? It's the only thing that would make sense currently. If that is the case, it's a matter of finding that workflow and then setting a property value in the 'Create record' workflow action that lets you identify these deals later on, see my previous reply. In other words: First create a deal property to document the form as a source, then set this property during deal creation in your workflow

How exactly does a job get created after a form submission? Is this a manual step? Is this happening via workflow? In any case, to accomplish what you're trying to do, at that point in time, at the creation of the deal record, you would have to document the source (e.g. 'via form submission') in a custom property – so that you can later filter on this property in a report or send a notification.

Hi, Thank you for the reply! The deal is created through the form submission. Then the deal iss manually moved through the pipeline because there are questions that need to be answered to move to some stages. My goal is to track referrals that are creating deals and tracked through to completion and have a notification to send me to send them a message. I hope that makes sense.

I'm sorry. You are correct, Karsten. I created a record that populates our deal pipeline at a certain stage through a workflow. I wanted to make another workflow to email me once that record is moved through the pipeline and is at the final stage. But for some reason, I am having issues with that process.
