Workflow assigns new task before previous is completed
SOLVE
I have triggers in the workflow to delay assigning the new task until the old task is completed but it doesn't matter, it will still assign them even if the previous task still shows open. Can someone help with this? Attached are two photos, one of what it looks like on a customer's contact card and the other is my workflow.
By default, HubSpot will assume that a new task is not related to a task created before. In other words, HubSpot doesn't care whether previous tasks have been completed.
The solution here is a "Delay until event happens" action:
