What is AI UGC, and how to create an AI-generated UGC video?
SOLVE
AI UGC refers to user-generated content created with the help of artificial intelligence, but it can be unclear how these videos are made. How do you even start? What tools do you need? It seems like a blend of technology and creativity, but the steps to create an AI UGC video might leave you scratching your head.

What is AI UGC, and how to create an AI-generated UGC video?
SOLVE
Great question @saurabh30791. A big one for sure. I like the resources from @BérangèreL as a start.
I think it's also an ongoing discussion about how much do consumers of our content care about what's from AI and what's not. For example, my partner loves the "babies in movie scenes" AI, but hates knowing AI is used to create content for things like learning or news.
So for brands, the question I think being asked, is how do we feel about users creating content with AI?
In my perspective we're still very early in the AI era and have to define these parameters as we go. If I owned a brand and had UGC as part of my marketing, I'd be wary of AI and would encourage users to use it sparingly. I'd probably try to employ team members to run quality control and try to moderate UGC more closely for a while. As AI grows in its usage, I might relax those constraints, but that's my opinion at this point.

AI UGC (Artificial Intelligence User-Generated Content) refers to content—often in video format—that mimics the style and tone of real user-generated content but is produced using AI tools. These videos often feature virtual avatars, synthetic voices, and scripted content that looks and sounds like genuine product reviews, testimonials, or unboxings, without involving actual users or creators.
So, how do you create one?
Here’s a step-by-step overview:
Define the Video Purpose Start by identifying what kind of UGC-style video you need: a testimonial, product review, how-to, or a casual explainer. This will guide your script and tone.
Write a Natural Script Use conversational, first-person language—like something a real customer might say. Keep it simple and relatable.
Choose an AI Video Generator Use a platform that lets you:
Select digital avatars or presenters
Add or generate voiceovers
Insert your script or product details
Customize the layout and visuals (e.g., product images, text highlights)
Customize the Look and Feel Adjust the avatar’s appearance, tone of voice, background, and branding to match your product and audience.
Export the Final Video Most tools allow you to download the video in formats optimized for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube Shorts.
Review and Optimize Before publishing, review the video for flow and authenticity. A/B testing different versions can help refine what works best for engagement and conversions.
While AI UGC may not replace traditional creator content entirely, it offers a fast, scalable way to produce social-style videos—especially useful for ad campaigns and product promotions. It’s a blend of scripting, AI tools, and a good eye for what feels "real" to today’s digital audience.
