Running Challenge Webinars

Hey all. We have been running a weekly challenge that runs for four weeks. The first week we get GREAT attendance and then that drops about 50% the next week. We have 4 email reminders throughout the week, a 15 min email and text before we start and a "We are LIVE" email.

Currently trying to figure out why we have such bad attendance after that first week, and what we could do better. Thank you!

Hi @EKnaack,

A few things that might help:

  • Make sure week two feels just as valuable — tease key takeaways and build some FOMO.

  • You’re doing a great job with reminders, but sometimes less is more. Maybe try one really strong, personal mid-week email instead of four.

  • Consider a reward or progress tracker to keep people motivated (e.g. “Join all 4 and unlock a bonus”).

  • And for folks who miss week 2, send a quick “missed you!” message with the replay and an easy way to jump back in.

One last idea: ask your audience directly! A super short feedback form or even a one-question email (“What’s getting in the way of joining live?”) can uncover a lot.

I hope this helps,

Jess
