Want contacts imported from LeadIQ to overwrite existing owner

SOLVE

Hi,

I'm importing contacts from LeadIQ to HubSpot. Most are new, but some already exist as contacts. For all the new contacts, I wind up as the owner. For the existing, however, Hubspot doesn't seem to be overwriting the current owner with me. I've checked the box on LeadIQ that says to overwrite, so I'm guessing the issue I'm coming up against is somewhere in my HubSpot setup.

If someone can fill me in on how to solve, that would be fantastic and very much appreciated.

Thanks!

Andrew

Want contacts imported from LeadIQ to overwrite existing owner

Hi @asgoldberg1

As you already have checked the box on LeadIQ that says to overwriteReview any automation or workflow rules that may be affecting ownership settings will advise you to check workflows that trigger on contact creation or updates, they could be overwriting the owner based on predefined rules OR Check the contact property history in HubSpot for an existing contact to see if there are any recent changes to the owner. This can provide insights into whether the import process is attempting to update the owner and if there are any errors or conflicts.
Still can't fig out the error then please contact HubSpot support. They can check the cause of this at the backend as they have access to your HubSpot account.

Hope this helps!
Thanks.
