Use Siri to add Tasks to Hubspot

Hi everyone, I figured out a reltivley easy way to use Siri to add tasks to hubspot using Zapier Webhooks and Apple Short Cuts..

There may be an easier way but I use Zapier a bunch and this works well.

Part 1 — Create the Zap (Catch Webhook → HubSpot: Create Task)

1. Make a new Zap

• In Zapier, click Create Zap.

1. Trigger: Webhooks by Zapier → Catch Hook

• Choose Catch Hook.

• Copy the Custom Webhook URL (you’ll paste this into the iPhone Shortcut later).

• Leave this tab open.

1. Action: HubSpot → Create Task

• Connect your HubSpot account (the portal you actually use).

• Map fields (will do later)

Part 2 — Build the iPhone Shortcut

1. Create Shortcut

• Open Shortcuts on iPhone → + → name it Add HubSpot Task.

1. Action 1: Dictate Text

• Add Dictate Text (no prompt; it listens immediately).

• This captures whatever you say as the task description.

1. Action 2: Get Contents of URL

• Add Get Contents of URL and set:

  • URL: paste your Zapier Catch Hook URL

  • Method: POST

  • Headers:

    • Key: Content-Type

    • Value: application/json

  • Request Body: JSON

    • Add key: description

    • Value: tap the variable button and insert the Dictate Text output (the gray token)

Part 3 — Test end-to-end

1. Back in Zapier, your Trigger is still on Test trigger → it’s waiting.

2. Run the Shortcut on iPhone (or say “Hey Siri, add HubSpot task”).

3. Speak a sample task: “Call Bill about big Sale"

4. In Zapier, you should now see a payload with description. Click Continue.

5. Now go to the Hubspot Zap, and map the decription to the subject field.

NOTE:  There a re likley ways to parse or segment to add dates descriptions etc.  This works well enough for me so I hope it at least gets you started.
