Urgent Help Needed: Reconnecting My Domain to HubSpot

Hi HubSpot Community,

I’m facing an issue with reconnecting my domain to HubSpot, and I would greatly appreciate your help.

Here’s the situation:

  • I previously created a HubSpot account and connected my domain (goelevate.fr) to that account.
  • Due to some problems, I deleted that HubSpot account permanently (including the user and the account).
  • I’ve now created a new HubSpot account to start fresh, using the same email address and password as before.

However, when I try to connect my domain (goelevate.fr) to my new account, I get an error stating that the domain is already connected to another HubSpot account. The issue is that this "other account" is my previous account, which no longer exists.

I’ve also cleared all DNS records for goelevate.fr on my domain provider (Ionos), hoping it would resolve the issue, but it hasn’t helped. Now my website shows as inaccessible.

To summarize, I’m stuck:

  1. My domain is still linked to my permanently deleted HubSpot account.
  2. I cannot connect it to my new HubSpot account.
  3. My DNS settings might not be properly configured after clearing them, which may be causing further issues.

I urgently need assistance to:

  1. Fully disconnect my domain (goelevate.fr) from the deleted HubSpot account.
  2. Properly set up my domain to connect it to my new HubSpot account.

If anyone in the community has encountered this issue before or knows how to resolve it, your guidance would mean a lot to me. It’s critical for my website, and I’m feeling stuck.

Thank you so much in advance for your help and support!

Best regards,
Lucas

Urgent Help Needed: Reconnecting My Domain to HubSpot

Hi @Louco! Welcome to the Community-- happy to have you here 😊

Thank you for all of the detail and troubleshooting you have provided so far! I apologize for any delay in your operations due to this issue. On the backend, I can see that the domain is associated with additional accounts. That said, the Community does not have the proper access or authorization to remove those domains. I recommend you submit your information to the HubSpot support team through this form and they will be able to help you verify domain ownership and access your old account to remove the domain!

Let me know if I did not understand your questions or if you need additional clarification!

Best,

Kennedy

Urgent Help Needed: Reconnecting My Domain to HubSpot

Hi Kennedy,

Thank you so much for your kind response and for taking the time to assist me with my issue. I really appreciate your help—every bit of support means a lot to me.

I have submitted my information to the HubSpot Assistance Team using the form you recommended, and I am now waiting for their response. I’m hopeful that they will be able to resolve this issue.

To clarify, the problem isn’t related to verifying the ownership of my domain (goelevate.fr). The real challenge lies in the fact that my domain is connected to an old HubSpot account that I permanently deleted. I am currently using the same email address for my new account as I did for the old one, but I can’t associate my domain with the new account because it’s still linked to the deleted account.

Since the old account was permanently deleted, I’m unsure if it still exists in HubSpot’s database and whether it can be accessed to disconnect the domain. I’m hoping the Assistance Team can help me resolve this.

Thank you again for your guidance—it means a lot. If you have any additional suggestions, I’d be happy to hear them.

Best regards,
Lucas
