Urgent - Contact/Companies lifecycle stage

Hi,

I am new to HubSpot (have a strong knowledge with salesforce.com) We are implementing a new system and we started to create the Lifecycle stage for Contact, When we came to edit the lifecycle stage of Companies, we see that it must be equal to the values of the contact (???). We already sent the design document to the client and defining different values to each lifecycle stage of the objects.

How can have different values for the company? It is going to cause a real issue with the out-of-the-box automation and the process we defined.

Urgent - Contact/Companies lifecycle stage

Hi @OBetzalel! Unfortunately you can NOT have separate Lifecycle Stages for Contacts and Companies. You CAN, however, use the default Company field "Type" to categorize your Companies differently. It's an out-of-the-box field, but you can make changes to it. It's not identical to Lifecycle Stages, but given your requirements it could be a good work-around.

@EmmaAtKiwi Hi, I think it will be better to create a new field named: "Company Status". Thanks for the suggestion!
