Trouble with DNS records and email delivery between Ionos and HubSpot

SOLVE

I have an Ionos custom domain and email I pay for, I can't seem to modify the DNS records right to connect my hubspot free account/ website to what is supposed to be my primary domain (my Ionos custom domain) without having email delivery issues, Name Servers cannot change or my Ionos business email quits working.

That long URL seems to be a redirect to: https://ac-mobile-mechanic-services.com/en-us/ . By adding the language to the page your homepage goes to a 404 (not found) error which is what google will see ( https://ac-mobile-mechanic-services.com/ ). You need to remove the language associated with the page so the "en-us" goes away to fix that issue.

@MWilliams278 in HubSpot, there are two options, one for connecting your website domain and another for your email sending domain. I'm not sure how Ionos works specifically, but I'd be happy to walk through the settings together to see if we can get it working.

Trouble with DNS records and email delivery between Ionos and HubSpot

SOLVE

With the HubSpot free it doesn't give me an option to hook up Ionos as an email sending domain I've been trying. It doesn't give but 4 options I think.... Part of the issue so someone at Ionos said is I've been doing all of this from my android Smartphone as I have no computer yet. We just launched a mobile mechanic service and now my website is down because I couldn't receive business email as long as my name servers weren't the Ionos default except no one could definitively tell me exactly WHO my name server was switched to so I had to reset the whole thing. Now I'm receiving email but when I visit my site it says it's not available but everything checks out, DNS records say "found" on HubSpot dashboard. I don't know.... My ol' man is on disability, we have 3 kids one who is considered disabled and in long term in patient care. Our funds are limited at best i don't have access to IT or Tech departments as this is pretty much just me and my family trying to get by....  Update something I did yesterday got the website up and going if you enter the specific and complete URL..... Don't think that is going to help us get "found" much in search engines but it better than nothing. Hopefully my email is still working.....

From what I can see Ionos is just a domain registrar like Godaddy. So there isn't much going on there. Hubspot free is very limited and is usually recommended for testing and not maintaining a full business on. The rules are different from Hubspot paid accounts with regards to acceptible spam limits, etc. There is also no support from Hubspot, only user to user support in this community. And if anything happens or your account gets flagged, there is no undo and that is the end of the account.

If you post a link to your website, we can take a look for you. Typically in Hubspot the biggest issue that users come across is that they are not properly setting the homepage and give it a language, or a slug like "index" or "home". I would recommend checking in the page options that you have no language defined, and no slug defined.
