Tracking CTA Clicks Incrementally for Lead Score Purposes

Hello everyone! I have a question about CTAs. Currently, when you track if someone has clicked a CTA you have to apply this to each individual CTA in the system. When you have hundreds of them, though, this is not efficient. What I would like to do is increment a score number on a contact each time a CTA is clicked by them. Is there a work around for this?? Not through traditional lead scoring, but it can be built out in a custom scoring workflow.

 

There is a CTA beta program that appears to be in the wild.  I have it in a few of my instances, but not sure how global it is. If you go to Contacts --> List --> Create an active list as a test --> For filters do you see "Calls-to-action (beta)".  If you do there is a filter to look for every time someone clicks a CTA regardless of what it is. If you don't see this, stop here and contact the support team and see if you can get added to the beta as this will be necessary for what are you looking to build.

Yeah, so this IS NOT a solution.  The beta fields (even though we have access to the CTA Beta) DO NOT POPULATE WITH ANY DATA.  Therefore, there is STILL no way that HubSpot can manage to pull a contact to list who has clicked any CTA.  You must still go in and add each individual CTA as a separate filter to one list.  Which is silly, becuase there are so many CTAs.  Don't understand why HubSpot can implement a "submitted any form" but not a "clicked any CTA".  Seems like a pretty big miss by the development team.    Please, if this is incorrect, I would love to see an actual solution that works.

You're right. This is still an issue and something I wish HubSpot would fix. Any asset should be able to be tracked and with CTAs being a major asset type, it's a bit odd you cannot have a filter with Workflows or Lists that says {Contact} "Has clicked exactly [insert number] or more CTAs" or something similar. This needs to be changed for sure. Let's all keep adding it as an idea for the dev team. It's really needed.
