Tool for gathering product / deal requirements

SOLVE

Hi,

 

We have a complex solution with many options / moving parts. We talk to prospects about their requirments and collect details up in Deal notes.

 

We have some items in the product library that we can use for quotes but how do others record their propects requirments?

 

A drag and drop map of all the reqruirments would be good? playbook? Table? 

 

How do you capture and visualise the requirments of the deal?

 

Any top tips?

Playbooks, required properties, record customization, and filters/reports.

  • Playbooks help reps ask the right questions and collect the right information. This should be the information needed to move along the pipeline and playbooks should be built out for different scenarios/situations.
  • Required properties for deal creation and movement along pipelines is helpful to ensure all of the boxes have been checked. The required information should be part of the playbooks as mentioned above.
  • Customizing the records is one of my favorite ways to visualize captured information and it's usually very efficient for sales reps.
  • We often create reports/filters that pull in deals that are missing required information. This can be customized for different situations and scenarios as well. We usually create a "Deal Hygiene" board so reps can quickly see deals missing information and it's easily accessible by sales managers as well.
