I was wondering if anyone has had this issue before and how they have since dealt with this. I am wanting to sync an 'external Outlook calendar' to my HubSpot dashboard to allow for all our bookings to be listed on each customer/client account.
I have followed the step by step guide for the previous 'personal' business emails, however, the option for 'external' doesnt seem to be avaialble. Is this because we are only on the free plan, please can someone advise if this is to be the case. To clarify the email we are wanting to set up does have it's own email address and password, so I was under the assumption this could be added the normal way.
I have created another account, within our dashboard, for this email and attempted to sync this way, although it keeps saying the address is already within use on another account, my personal account. This confused me as I haven't synced this calendar although I do have access to this on my actual Outlook page. I have also tried to log out of my Google account and use Chrome as a guest, although this still shows no luck.
Is there something I am doing wrong, is there something additional I need to have as an extention to allow for this to work?
Hi @FBlakeman. Even with HubSpot CRM Free, you should be able to manage meetings tool settings and use HubSpot's calendar sync with Outlook Calendar. Once you've connected a user's calendar, you can create a scehduling page (meetings link) that uses that sync. If you go to your meetings tool under the sales navigation, is there a link there for you? And does that link reference your calendar and your availability? It should look something like this:
You can see there are specific times available, which is tied to my calendar.
Behind the scenes, it should look like this (we use Google):
If you can share a screenshot of where you're getting hung up, someone may have a similar experience and an answer. Hopefully that helps!
