I am debating on removing 'subscriber' stage and start a pipeline with a 'lead' stage. Will this impact my reporting?
It seems to be outdated that 'subscriber' is historically the first stage, followed with 'lead'. However, 'lead' can be just completely cold contacts synched with Apollo.
I read that it's better to keep lifecycle stages default if possible.
The subscriber stage can be safely removed, it's not as integrated into CRM processes like the lead, opportunity and customer stages. I often delete it. And I agree, the concept of it being the first stage for contacts and a dated.
Best regards!

Hey there! Removing the 'subscriber' stage and starting with 'lead' can make things simpler, but it'll mess with your reporting a bit since historical data and trends might get skewed. The 'subscriber' stage helps identify who's just starting to engage, which is useful for targeting them with the right content. Sticking with the default lifecycle stages is usually a good idea for keeping everything consistent and making sure all your tools and automations work smoothly. If you decide to switch things up, just make sure you've got a plan for how to handle the changes in your reports and workflows. Also, consider using WhatsApp mod for better engagement and communication with your leads.
