Strategy for Managing Paid Monthly Training Sessions in HubSpot?

SOLVE

Objective:

  • To manage and track monthly training sessions where a fixed number of participants can register and pay.
  • The participants (contacts) are already stored in HubSpot and are associated with their respective companies. Or they can register from a form on the website, pay, and be added to a deal which represents one of the trainings.
  • All participants should be associated with one single deal - not a deal for each participant.
  • The goal is to create a unified and more automated process to handle registration, payment tracking, and linking this information to deals in HubSpot.

What We Have Tried So Far:

  1. Create a Product:

    • A product has been created for the recurring training session, which can be reused for all future training deals.
  2. Payment Link Creation and Integration:

    • A payment link has been generated and linked to the product to facilitate participant payments.
  3. Deal Creation:

    • A deal has been created for the training session in September to track registration and payment for that specific session.

That's our strategy right now. We are not entirely sure if it makes sense to use deals this way. In the past, deals were created on a 1:1 level with contacts which in my mind does not make a lot of sense for event type deals that we are dealing with here.

 

Has anyone done something similar so far?
