We are creating a webinar invite form and want to limit it to only 100 attendees, is there anyway to cap a list/form out that once we have 100 registrations this form then shows an alternate message?
This is unfortunately currently not possible. HubSpot forms aren't built for managing capacity for an event, unfortunately. There aren't any settings for closing a form after a specific amount of submissions.
Out of the box, without additional coding, your best option is to create an active list of all form submissions and bookmark that list so you can check it on a regular basis. Once the limit is reached, you would remove the form from the landing page.
Any automated workaround here would require either a website developer to code a custom web form solution or a developer to code a custom code action in workflows (requiring Operations Hub Professional) that keeps track of how many contacts have submitted a form and then automatically declines those who submit after a limit has been met.

Hey friends! Ran into the same issue but wanted to provide an update that we can set automation to notify of list changes. Now, you don't have to worry about forgetting to check your list!
The more I use HubSpot, the more I come across basic things like this that it can't do. Go to any other form creation service, and they'll all have form submission limits as an option. Another one is the limitations on feedback surveys - why can't you randomise the options, and have an "other (please provide details)" box. There's so much that is standard elsewhere that it can't do. Surely something like this would be easy to implement - are HubSpot not looking into this?
