Separating personal contacts after automatically logged to HubSpot

What sorts of effective solutions have people found for marking some HubSpot contacts as "personal"? Since a lot of reps have their emails automatically logging to HubSpot, and sometimes send personal emails from their work email, how can I keep them separate?
This allows allows individual users and admins to set either specific emails or whole domains (i.e. your own company domain so internal emails aren't logged) which are excluded from logging.
The benefit is that this prevents these contracts from being created and emails being logged against them, and tackles the problem at source.
