Sending emails via hubspot (Font is messed up)

SOLVE

Hi,

I've started to send emails via HUBS to track the interactions on the sent email (ie open 4 times etc). However I've noticed (after checking the sent folder on my email) that the format of the emails sent from HUBS look poor (different font etc). What the best way to ensure the font is all the same?

Previously & to save time, I've been creating the content of the emails in a word document and pasting into HUBS. I go to the contact in HUBS and use the create email option.

Tks,

Neal

Sending emails via hubspot (Font is messed up)

SOLVE

To ensure the font and format of your emails remain consistent when sending them through HubSpot, follow these steps:

1. Avoid Copy-Pasting Directly from Word

Copying directly from Word or other rich-text editors often introduces hidden formatting, which can conflict with HubSpot’s default email styling.

Solution:

•Paste your content into a plain text editor (e.g., Notepad) first to strip any formatting.

•Then, copy it from the plain text editor and paste it into HubSpot’s email editor.

2. Use HubSpot’s Formatting Options

•Utilize HubSpot’s built-in text editor to apply formatting. This ensures consistency with the email templates and aligns with email client display standards.

•Set the font type, size, and color manually within HubSpot’s email editor.

3. Check Email Templates

Ensure the email template you’re using in HubSpot has consistent font settings:

•Go to Marketing > Email > Email Templates in your HubSpot account.

•Edit the template to confirm or update global font styles.

4. Preview and Test

•Before sending emails to contacts, use the Preview feature in HubSpot to see how the email will appear.

•Send a test email to yourself or colleagues to confirm that the formatting is displayed as intended.

5. Utilize HubSpot’s Design Manager

•If the issue persists, review the email design in the Design Manager to ensure the template’s CSS styles are not being overridden.

6. Training for Teams

•Train your team to use consistent workflows for creating and editing email content within HubSpot to avoid inconsistencies.

These steps should help maintain a uniform font and email appearance when sending through HubSpot. For more guidance on customizing email templates, you can refer to HubSpot’s knowledge base on emails .
