Send marketing through a different connected account

SOLVE

Our users have two email accounts, to accomodate our two brands. They have their Hubspot login email address (which is one of the brands) and two email accounts connected to their Hubspot account. This way they can send emails from Hubspot from either account depending on the brand of the deal they are working on.

 

When we send marketing emails using personalisation tokens to make it appear as though the email is coming from the contact owner, I can't find a way of being able to specify which of the connected accounts to use the email address from.

Is there a way that a marketing email can be sent, using a personalisation token but specifying the sending domain?

 

It's a common thing in our organisation that some marketing emails will come from Brand A and some from Brand B, personalised as though they have come from the account manager, but at the moment I can only specify the Brand A email address to send from.

Hi @TM-OML,

 

The owner email address pulls from their account login address, not their connected inbox.

 

If you want to use a different address than that, you would have to create a single line text property, add the desired email address for each contact (e.g. using a workflow and branching: if user is A, then set property to email corresponding to A).

 

Once you have this property,you can select it in the from address settings of a marketing email.

That's a really helpful suggestion, thank you. I've done something similar already for mobile phone numbers for the contact owner, so I'll just expand that out. Thank you
