Send an email after call that was booked through meetings scheduler link

SOLVE

I am looking to set up an automation that sends an email as soon as a call is finished. In the meetings scheduler automations tab, you can set a "pre-meeting" reminder email. I'm looking to send a post-meeting follow up email right after the call concludes. It seems like this should be an option in the automations tab, in meetings scheduler set up. 

 

Going through workflows and sequences is not working for me so far as contacts have to be "set as a marketing contact" which I don't want because they are current clients and did not sign up for marketing emails. The other option in sequences is that an automated email is sent as soon as they "submit the form" which is booking a call through the meetings scheduler. I've done zapier - and I couldn't seem to find the "right" key word (it would send it out after calls that it was not supposed to). There has to be an easier way for this - schedule once and calendly do this with ease. Hoping for a simple solution.

Hi @AMer92 -

Do you update the call outcome after the call? I think it’s a good idea to update the call outcome after you’ve had a call. You can create a list of contacts for enrollment criteria based on this. So, whenever you finish the call, the contact gets added to the list and starts the workflow. You can also send a series of emails.

If you don’t want to use them as ‘marketing contacts’, maybe you can try this criteria to send follow-up sequences using workflow. You might need an enterprise subscription for this though.

Do you update the call outcome after the call? I think it’s a good idea to update the call outcome after you’ve had a call. You can create a list of contacts for enrollment criteria based on this. So, whenever you finish the call, the contact gets added to the list and starts the workflow. You can also send a series of emails.

Hi Aakar - 

The problem I'm running into is that these are client calls that happen 2-3 times a month for 3-6+ month contracts. Would that mean after every call I would need to go in and mark it complete to get the email to send? I'm currently sending these emails manually or scheduling them out at the beginning of the week. I'm looking for every call that is booked through the specific meeting scheduler link to receive the follow up email. Is that possible with hubspot without having to mark the outcome as complete?

@AMer92 Yes, you can probably use other call activity properties. You can also include the meeting link to narrow down the list.
