I am looking for inspiration on how to best setup my Hubsspot CRM for my self storage business.
All leads come in through our webflow/website form submissions. They will then be called by us straight after and contracts are sent for them to review and sign. Then deal is signed.
i am unsure on how to best setup the funnel and if it should be with products (all rooms being created as separate products).
I think it's a relatively simple setup, I just want to make sure that it's done right from the beginning.
I want to add properties to the deals that should contain links to their contracts (we use a third party contract software) and to the rent collection platform that we use.
also we might see people contacting us through email and contact forms that might end up becoming customers. I would also like to have all the conversations logged in HubSpot so that we don't end up having unanswered emails in case someone is on vacation.
I think that's it. Please ask any clarifying questions if needed.
@JNielsen9 if you have Starter suite my recommendation would be quite different than if you have the free plan, since both are tagged I'm unsure which you have.
I agree with @Lucila-Andimol that getting guidance is a great way to make sure everything is configured the way you'd like and that will work for your business.
I also agree with you that for the most part, it sounds fairly straightforward.
Here's how I would start:
1 - connect all forms and emails to your Conversations inbox.
Once connected, run some tests and determine what type of properties you need to track the status of these conversations, if you need to create tickets, add automation etc.
2 - check if your third-party software has an integration with HubSpot
3 - map out your sales process and identify the data you need for each step of the process, then align that with your pipeline stages, create custom properties, etc.
I'd get started with these and then come back with questions, I'm happy to help point you in the right direction.

so setting up the CRM is a very important step for your business
there is NO magic recommendations , but the best recommendation for Your business and the way YOU work.
I'd strongly suggest to have an onboarding process with some agency or jump on a coaching call with specialist so that they can guide you better on how to set up the CRM the best way for you.
Hope this helps
