See object association history

Hi,

I was wondering if there was a way to see the association history.

For example if a contact was associated with a company, i want to know

-date

-source of association (manual, API, etc..)

I need it to troubleshoot some association error.

I'm confused what they mean by "database migration".

I haven't done any migration, all the automation should come through API no ? :
