RSVP Yes No

SOLVE

The landing page created has RSVP yes or no box. The boxes are not clicking so user is unable to check if yes they are attending the event or no they are unable to attend the event.

I have tried looking at help to understand where the set up is incorrect. Please advise. Thank you!

Hi @HLee1,

How are these boxes set up, can you share a link to your page?

Generally, if you want a reliable way to capture whether a person is planning to attend to an event or not, you should not use just CTAs (it sounds like that's what you're doing). Keep in mind that website visitors are not logged in and often anonymous, meaning that HubSpot couldn't associate a button click with a person.

Instead, it's better practice to create a website form and capture at a very minimum the email address of the contact. The form submission in itself could be the RSVP. (There isn't really a need for someone to submit a form to tell you that they're not coming.)

You could then identify who will attend by looking at the form submissions.

Thank you for replying.
So in order for the yes/no box to work someone has to be logged in when filling out the form?

Why does the function exist in such a limited way as most events would want to confirm if someone is attending or not. Any insight you could share would be appreciated.

Thank you!

@HLee1 I still don't know what exactly you're referring to when you say "yes/no box". Can you please share a screenshot or a link to your page?
