Pulling a report that shows all contacts with primary and secondary company associated

resolver

Hello,

Recently I reached out to HubSpot Customer Service asking, how I can create either a view or a list that would show me contacts with both primary and secondary company associated. It turned out there is no way to do it.

However, I found a workaround I wanted to share with you all:

- in HubSpot go to companies, add column "associated company ID's" to current view

- export all companies to CSV, open the export file in Excel

- put a filter on in Excel, show all cells that have ";" in "associated company ID's" column. This will show all contacts with 2 companies assigned.

to see what the company names are in separate columns:

- go to HubSpot, export all companies, including company ID and company name

- copy the data from Excel view created earlier into separate Excel file

- do "text to columns" function in excel on column "associated company ID's" using ";" as delimiter - this will put company ID's in separate columns.

- to get company names use function vlookup on each of these new columns to pull company names from all company export

Happy to assist more if you need it!

Paulina
