Me and my team are currently drafting some email templates to send to prospects.
We'd like to insert a personalisation token that will say 'Good morning' or 'Good afternoon', depending on the time of day.
I've seen there isn't a clear morning/afternoon personalisation token. Is this possible within HubSpot, or does anyone know of any trick they wouldn't mind sharing?
You're correct, there's not a stadnard way to do this. However, you could potentially create smart content based on list membership, but I don't see a way to base it on send time.
Honestly, I think the best bet is to ask in the Ideas forum here for this functionality. It's the first I've heard this request in 12 years, but it could be a popular request if posted!

Question - are you expecting to use this in a workflow, where the sending time will vary depending on their interaction and the criteria? Or in a standard email send? In the standard approach, you have the power for scheduling and basing the send on time zones, so you'd always know what time they're receiving it. I'm assuming you're referencing a workflow instead.
Just a random thought. 😊
