When I click on the hyperlinked task title in tasks view I am taken to either the ticket the task is on or the contact associated (I can't see the pattern) the I have to search through the tasks on that Index page (is that what it is called) to find the task and open it in what i call an Activity view (i.e. you can add comments). From the Tasks list you can click on the Edit box that pops up when you hover over the task title, but this view doesn't include the comments facility.
Of course, this faciltiy should also be possible in the daily Task reminder email, but the only link on that is to the Tasks report.
@GHyman1 This may work if you have't tried it: To access the full task activity view with comments directly, you can navigate to the contact, company, or deal associated with the task. Then, scroll to the "Activity" tab on their record where tasks and comments are listed. This way, you avoid searching through multiple tasks manually and can more quickly access activity details and comments.
