I'm trying to see if this is possible. I've tried but can't seem to get it right.
We have a single form we created to insert into our site. One of the options is a dropdown. Of the four options the email notifications should be handled slightly differently.
We have widget salespeople who will be using the Group Inbox. When the person picks "I want to buy a widget" the emails should go to teh Group Inbox for the back and forth conversation.
We have widget support and when somebody picks that in the drodown the emails should go directly to a specific person, circumventing the Group Inbox.
We have a widget adoption person so when the person wants to give up their widget they pick that option and an email goes to a dedicated widget adoption specialists email and does not enter the Group Inbox.
I know I can use a workflow to send emails to specific people based on the choices in the contact form, but they still end up in the Group Inbox as well.
Do I need to create multiple forms for this or am I missing a trick?
Have you checked the notification settings within the Form > Options? Either this, Also, or global settings within a notification profile, may be overriding your workflow.
I removed any individual people in Form>Options, yep.
In Global Notifications things look fine.
To clarify, using the worflows notifcation emails are being sent to individual people as expected, but all the forms submissions are still in the Group Inbox no matter what dropdown option is selected.
