Not Receiving Mobile Notifications for New Contact Activities

SOLVE

Hi guys, I've installed the HubSpot mobile app to get notifications whenever a contact is made or updated. However, I’m not receiving any notifications despite enabling them in my phone settings and the app.

What could be the issue, and is there an alternative way to stay instantly informed about new contact activities?

Hello @lishba

 

A few things could be causing this issue.

 

First, double-check your HubSpot notification settings in the app: go to Settings -> Notifications and ensure that contact activity notifications are enabled. Also, confirm that your user role has the right permissions to receive these notifications (Admin settings > Users & Teams).

 

If everything looks correct but you're still not getting alerts, try logging out and back in to refresh the connection. Additionally, check your phone’s battery optimization settings, as some devices (especially Android) restrict background notifications for battery-saving reasons.

 

As an alternative, you can set up email alerts or use a Slack integration with HubSpot to receive real-time updates when a contact is added or updated. If the issue persists, reinstalling the app might help.
