Migrating one Hubspot account into another (Marketing and Sales hubs)

Hi there,

We have one Hubspot account where we only use the Marketing hub, and another Hubspot account that is mainly used as a CRM.

We are trying to find the most optimal way to "merge" them, however at the moment it looks like we will loose data in any case: if we migrate our Marketing hub, we will loose all the contacts' activity history (page views, email clicks, etc.); and if we migrate the Sales hub we will loose notes, sales emails, and possibly other data.

We have a few years' worth of deals in the Sales hub, but at the same time we don't want to sacrifice all the leads' engagement history in the Marketing hub.

Is there another solution we haven't considered?

@SashaLibina  Import2 is a great solution for migrating historical activities into HubSpot. They can migrate the activities and types with their corresponding date stamps.

There are apps on the HubSpot app marketplcae which assist in transferring engagements, namely:

HubSpot To HubSpot Migrator: Easily migrate data from one HubSpot portal to another HubSpot portal

Import2: 1-Click Data Migration

Engagements include (sales) notes, emails, tasks, meetings, calls. Information like page views or marketing email interactions can – as far as I know – not be migrated. If you want to move information like this (interactions with marketing content in the 'old' portal), I'd recommend using workflows or bulk editing to store some of this information in custom properties, where possible and feasible.
