Manually "Nurturing" possible future clients

resolver

Hi HubSpot!

We are trying to develop a system within HubSpot into which we can place contacts who we assess to be possible future clients. For example an old client, an interested decisionmaker, a fan of our business who is not yet ready to buy.

We have tried this with the Lead Status "Recycle" and creating a workkflow that will notify the contact owner when a lead has not been contacted for 24 weeks. However each contact can only enter this workflow once (and we need to be in touch every 6 months) and other factors may alter the lead status.

What is best practice for this so that these individuals are not falling through the cracks?

You'll want to use a HubSpot Smart List as your workflow enrollment AND re-enrollment criteria. That way, your contacts may enter the workflow multiple times based on their membership in that 'potentials' list.

Happy Holidays

Note: Please search for recent posts as HubSpot evolves to be the #1 CRM platform of choice world-wide.

Hope that helps.

Be well,
Frank
