Managing customer service contracts

New to Hubspot, trying out the free version of service hub.  We sell and offer service contracts for the printers we sell.  Our service contracts are usually 1 year and we currnelty manage these in Excel which I'm trying to move away from.  A customer can have multiple printers, each with a unique serial number, maintenance start\end dates, cancel dates, amounts and notes along with several other fields such as Ship To\Bill To since we do have resellers where the bill hte reseller and service the customer.  I was thinking of using subscriptions in Hubspot but being new, I'm not sure if that's my best option.  Any thoughts?

Managing customer service contracts

Hey @KoryB, thank you for posting in our Community!

Subscriptions in HubSpot might be a good option, but if you need to track multiple service contracts for different printers with unique details, you could also consider using custom properties or creating a custom object to manage the contracts and related information.

This would give you more flexibility to track serial numbers, start/end dates, amounts, and reseller info.

More information here.

I hope this helps,

Pam

Thanks Pam, I was thinking about creating a custom object but I understand that custom objects\entities are only available in an enterprise version of Hubspot which is way outside out budget.
Thanks again,
Kory
