I am trying to determine what the best practice for MRR deals when they have been Closed Won and then later down the road the customer stops doing business with us.
Where the deal is MRR it makes sense to me to move the deal to Closed Lost, but maybe that is not the case. For the reporting and forecasting tools to work correctly, how should we handle MRR deals that drop off over time?
Any feedback would be great as I cannot find anything in the community or on the knowledge base on what the best practice is here.
Have you tried creating a Deal Stage called Cancelled? You'll want to create a Deal workflow to set the MRR property to zero so it doesn't show up on your report.
