Hi all, I'd like to see how other people have solved the scenario below:

How do you 'tag' a Contact that has attended a call / meeting that was booked with a Lead (lead object)?

We want that Contact to also receive relevant messaging in emails etc..but do not want to change them to a Lead as it will cause double counting in the reporting.

At this stage in the process using ABM Buying Roles Property is too soon . My thoughts so far are:

1. Associate the two contacts and add a note

2. Create a new Property under the Contact Object that can be used tag this audience

3. Create a new Lead Property that contains the HubSpot URL to the other contact.
4. Combination of all of the above - but that's extremely time intensive!

I'm really interested to hear how everyone else is solving this 🙂

many thanks!

Nikki

Hey @NKieran6! Thanks for your post.

I would agree that custom properties and associations would work well. I can understand the URL field being time-consuming as it would have to be manually filled, but if the Contacts are associated, you may be able to use association labels and workflows to set the tag property.

Let's invite some of our experts to see what they can suggest! @trevordjones, @Gaurav_Aggarwal, @Lucila-Andimol can y'all share your best practices for tagging Contacts associated with Leads?

Best,
Kennedy
