When creating magnets, how much do you focus on what your competitors are doing? What types of lead magnets are you creating that are working? Would love to see links to them.

Hey @MSanfilippo, very little do I focus on what the competitors are doing but rather what the industry is doing.  First and foremost, you need to provide immediate value.  I find that a healthy mix of magnets work best:

 

  1. Infographics
  2. E-books
  3. Daily email series

To name a few.  I can't share 1 and 2, but feel free to check out my site for number 3.

- Content strategy checklist

- 34 lead generation tips
